Dear brothers and sisters in Central Committee,
Jai Shri Mataji.
We hope you are all enjoying the blessings of Shri Mataji being in Central Committee.
Thank you for dedication and your work for Shri Mataji.
We, Haritha and Prasad Salunkhe, from Washington DC, USA, are seeking your refuge, need your protection and support in working for Shri Mataji and spreading Her message.
We are not Maha Yogis, not leaders nor we are seeking fame nor money. We are just Nirmaladaas, subservient servants of Shri Mataji, following the footsteps of Shri Hanumana. We feel the urgency and the pain of families in our community, so we want to continue to spread Shri Mataji’s message to everyone without any fear and hindrance.
We contacted and sent you emails from Nov. 2018, informing all actions by Nirmalavidya LLC against Maha Yoga. As guided by Shri Mataji’s talks, we are contacting you again for help,
Just FYI, summary of our story:
VND changed the method of Sahaja Yoga and formed a new method Sahaja Meditation (SM). It created many problems in all US collective. From 2012 many yogis opposed SM in USAyogis google groups and other groups.
From Washington DC, we stood up for using only Sahaja Yoga method but VND & DC collective ostracized us. Being in the collective, there were no options left for spreading Sahaja Yoga, so we announced in 2013 and left the SM collective and stated, we are not part of SM but only Sahaja Yoga and Shri Mataji.
For all practical reasons, to work with Federal Govt. & Corporates, and based on Shri Mataji’s talks and vibrations, “Maha Yoga” organisation was formed in 2014 and we used Shri Mataji’s desired name ‘Maha Yoga’. In all Public Programs, we present Shri Mataji’s method as it is.

Now, (Nov 27th, 2018) after 4 years, being aware of Maha Yoga activities, Nirmala Vidya llc,/ NIPC (Nirmal Intellectual Property Corporation) is coming after us. NIPC claims, it has sole legal authority on Shri Mataji’s Intellectual Property.
Without prior warning and ignoring all our requests, NIPC used Cowan Liebowitz law firm in NY, made multiple copyright strikes on Maha Yoga youtube channel and closed down the channel. Our youtube channel has custom url www.youtube.com/MahaYoga, which, we got after a long time of hard work. There are 5k subscribers. Twice a week, many people meditate with us through youtube live. We did not brand any video, we simply uploaded videos on Maha Yoga channel for our seekers easy access.
We did not make any money on Shri Mataji’s Intellectual Property. By Shri Mataji’s grace, we spend our own money to run Maha Yoga Organization.
After reaching World Collectives, US leaders and other US collectives for help, NIPC responded and stated that we do not have any rights to use Shri Mataji’s intellectual property. They stated, if we go to local collective (which is SM) and use CEL approach, they can give Maha Yoga YouTube channel back but without Shri Mataji’s talks
We do not accept their terms because,
- SM and CEL do not use Shri Mataji’s pure methods.
- Based on our miraculous experiences in Maha Yoga events.
- We have spent thousands of our personal money for Maha Yoga organisation.
For all the above reasons, we can not close down Maha Yoga organisation.
As we have been waiting for your help, we did not respond to Nirmala Vidya llc, email. We contacted Central Committee several times to address Maha Yoga issue.
Based on NIPC’s actions, they can take legal actions against Maha Yoga anytime, if not now, they can come after Maha Yoga and us in the future.
With no legal authority to use Shri Mataji’s Intellectual property, we cannot operate Maha Yoga activities with full freedom and without fear of any copyright infringement.

Leaders agreed ONLY to “preserve Shri Mataji’s Talks and Tapes for all eternity so that they are available for all people around the world”.
We would like to know what Shri Mataji agreed in the ownership transfer document, which was given to ‘Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi Sahaja Yoga World Foundation’ (SMNDSYWF).
We request Central Committee to publish that ownership transfer document, which was signed by Shri Mataji.
- Did Shri Mataji give permission to SMNDSYWF (non profit org) to pass ownership to Nirmala Vidya llc (profit making company)?
- Did Shri Mataji give permission to Nirmala Vidya LLC / NIPC to copyright Her Intellectual Property?
- Did Shri Mataji agreed to give legal freedom to Sahajayogis for using Her intellectual property for spreading Sahaja Yoga?
Based on many Shri Mataji’s own words, Shri Mataji never agreed to copyrighting Her intellectual property. Below is one talk related to that.

I know of people, there was an actress who came to my program and I came in 71 (there are so many people who came to My program) and also Dr Choudari told Me “You’d better get it copyright”. I said “There is no copyright needed for this kind of a thing, is all right!”.
And they are using My words, they are using word Kundalini, they are using Maha Yoga, they are using the words like self realisation, everything; but doing nothing about it, just making money.”
