The
mission and most significant activities of Vishwa Nirmala Dharma (Universal Pure Religion) created by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi
are clearly stated in our IRS filings (forms 990 of VND):
``ADVANCE
& PROPOGATE THE UNDERSTANDING,PRACTICES &THE MAINTENANCE OF THE
SPIRITUAL TEACHINGS OF SAHAJA RELIGION AS TAUGHT BY SHRI MATAJI NIRMALA
DEVI".
NC secretly changed the original by-laws in very radical ways. For instance, the ``Sahaja Religion" and the purposes of VND were deleted from the original by-laws (i.e., do not shop up in the new by-laws). When
confronted with this discovery, the NC provided a ``Memorandum" from the
VND attorneys that was meant to minimize the significance of the many
changes made in the new by-laws.
The main conclusions of BLCONCLUSIONS.pdf are:
I. There
was neither legal nor moral need to change the original by-laws. Few
updates, done with great care and devotion, would have been acceptable.
II. The
Memorandum of the VND attorneys contains misconceptions and a false
claim and is biased on the election and compensations.
III.
NC has deliberately misrepresented and misaddressed Her Holiness Shri
Mataji Nirmala Devi. There is no other official document that has
addressed Her in a more disrespectful and irresponsible way.
IV. The NC deliberately embraced the “vetting process”
and misrepresented the Membership Article II.
V.
The NC deliberately refused to have VND of U.S.A. aligned with the
worldwide VND. As U.S.A. is a very important country in the Vishuddhi
Chakra of the Virata, this non-alignment has and will have multiple
negative impacts on many other countries.
VI. sm is not grounded
in the Articles of Inc. from all angles or points of view (teachings of
Shri Mataji, the advice of Shri Mataji back in 2007, Sahaja Yoga,
Sahaja Dharma, Sahaja Culture, English usage, logic, our hearts,
international alignment, role in the Virata, original by-laws, IRS,
legal, insurance, etc.). Thus sm (as a name and an outreach
platform accompanied by paraphernalia) has no status of any kind.
VII. There are very grave consequences of the standard language ``All powers and activities of this corporation shall be exercised and managed by the Board of Directors of this corporation directly,
or, if delegated, under the ultimate direction of the Board." In
simpler words, with no checks and balances in place besides the Standard of Care which
is not at all clear how it works and acts, the NC is prone to abuses that go against the Sahaja Dharma and Culture.
VIII. Through sm, our organization VND has strayed away and thus crossed the moral, legal, and binding purpose on multiple counts/points:
1.
sm misrepresents Shri Mataji’s name and legacy. If VND of U.S.A.
chooses to use two or more names to do business, this provides no legal
right to impose two or more names to the teachings of Shri Mataji. Thus
false claims of the type that Shri Mataji is the “founder of Sahaja
Meditation” are misrepresenting Shri Mataji’s name and legacy.
2.
sm and NC misrepresent the teachings of Shri Mataji. Evidences: (i) the 4
phases of sm; (ii) the blog of a director that presents Shri Mataji as
continuing and correcting the work of Sigmund Freud.
3. The NC blocks the spreading of Sahaja Yoga and
its activities. As of today, the NC has refused to give open permission
to any Sahaja Yogi(ni) of the collective to conduct Sahaja Yoga public
programs or to open Sahaja Yoga centers. In particular, NC has refused
to answer the 14 questions that were explicitly and
openly put on February 19, 2013. Sahaja Yogis have been deprived by
materials of spreading Sahaja Yoga: Sahaja Yoga Materials web-site
store looks more like a ghost store with only few items listed for sale
and even fewer truly available for sale.
4. sm misrepresents Sahaja Yoga and Sahaja Culture.
Evidences: (i) the de-emphasis of Shri Mataji in sm programs, (ii) :
“practitioners”, “sm club”, etc., (iii) Shri Mataji is often in the
background or at the same level with Dr. Oz on our web-sites.
5. NC has deceived the adherents to VND who have
dedicated their lives to Shri Mataji and Sahaja Yoga. Evidence: NC has
forced sm on them despite the fact that they did not believe in sm and
despite the fact that obviously sm deviated from the specific purposes of
our Articles of Inc. on which we have all agreed without any
disagreement for more than 22 years (during the period May 1985 to July
2007)!
6. Abuses of Sahaja Yogis engaged in activities
which served the very purpose of our Articles of Inc. that were neither
addressed nor resolved by NC. Evidences: dismantling of altars during
Sahaja Yoga public programs, verbal public abuses, intimidations, etc.
7. NC deliberately ignored all appeals, requests,
documents of the concerned Sahaja Yogis made or presented in the last 5
years.
8. VND properties are not “irrevocably
dedicated to religious purposes” (this includes sm materials, web-sites,
and centers, etc.).
9. The NC has used the VND money for non-religious
activities and for deliberately replacing and removing the Sahaja Yoga
name from our web-sites, centers, internal communications, etc.
10. Deceiving and cheating of the American people in ways
which expose VND to Media attacks. When a formerly welcoming School
Board finds out that there is a phase 3 or phase 4 of sm and that their
Christian children are being manipulated towards such phases, there will
be grave consequences for anything
that includes the name ‘Sahaja’. It’s only a matter of time, and you can imagine how the National Media will treat such a story.
